Visible Vibrations

If we could see sound

Every raindrop splashed, unique to its key
Every wind whistled, the gentle flute to the thundering drums of lightning
The storm, a symphony

If we could see sound
Every soft ray of sunlight shouts, the brightest sound of trumpets
Every dawdling cloud, the smoothest transition between one note and the next
The sky, the stage, the perpetual anchor, to the orchestra who plays it all.

  1. I really enjoyed this poem. Before I read it I was thinking how would this poem be powerful if its so short. However, after reading it I noticed that it can be super impactful in not many words. You were able to do this by the descriptive language and having every single line be strong. I also loved the overall idea of this poem it was such a brilliant idea to try to express sounds by words and language.
Maybe in future you can expand this and describe other senses through language.
    Awesome job Nahal! So impressed!
